Maintenance is the work you do while the roof is still good

Most people do nothing until there is a stain on the ceiling. By then the cheap fix is gone.

We clean it, we tune it up, and we treat it. That is it. We are not going to tell you maintenance turns an old roof into a new one, because it does not.

What maintenance covers

Roof tune-up

The small things that end up causing the big ones: lifted shingles, popped nails, worn sealant, flashing that has pulled away, cracked pipe boots.

Cleaning

Streaking and staining on a Louisiana roof is usually growth, not damage. It comes off, and it comes back faster on shaded slopes.

Treatment

A soy-based treatment applied to shingles that are still in good structural shape. It is maintenance, not a way to make an old roof new.

When maintenance is the right call

Maintenance works on a roof that is still sound. If the deck is soft, if shingles are gone in sheets, or if the roof is at the end of its run, maintenance is the wrong spend and we will say so. The drone inspection is how we tell the difference, and it is free.
