Maintenance Is the Work You Do While the Roof Is Still Good
Roof maintenance is cleaning, a tune-up and treatment on a roof that is still structurally sound. The tune-up is the small stuff: lifted shingles, popped nails, worn sealant, flashing that has pulled away, cracked boots.
It is not a way to turn an old roof into a new one, and we are not going to tell you it is. On a roof that is genuinely worn out, maintenance is the wrong place to spend money and we will say so.
On a roof with life left in it, maintenance is the cheapest work you will ever do on it.
