Why a drone and not a ladder
A ladder shows you one corner of one slope. A drone shows you the whole roof in ten minutes, including the parts nobody can safely walk on. It is faster, it is safer, and it leaves you with evidence instead of an opinion.
We fly by the rules
John is an FAA Part 107 certified commercial drone pilot. That means real rules. Some airspace near the Northshore is controlled. When a property sits inside it, John gets FAA authorization before he flies, and if he cannot get it, he does not fly. Some operators skip that step. We do not. If we cannot fly your address legally, we will tell you and inspect it another way.
What happens after
- We fly. About ten minutes on site.
- You get the photos, usually the same day.
- If there is nothing wrong, that is the whole answer.
- If something needs work, you get a price with the photo that explains it.
Common questions
Does it cost anything?
No. The inspection and the photos are free.
Do I need to be home?
No. We can fly it and send you the pictures.
Will someone try to sell me a roof?
Only if you need one. Plenty of roofs come back needing nothing.
How close can the drone get?
Close enough to count shingles.
Do you fly in the rain?
No. We reschedule.
