When shingles are genuinely finished
Asphalt shingles fail in a recognisable way. They lose granules across every slope, not one patch. They go brittle, so a shingle cracks instead of bending when you lift it. Repairs stop holding and start reappearing somewhere new a few months later.
All of that is visible from the air, which is why we fly the roof first. You look at the same photographs we do and make the call yourself.
How the job runs
- Free drone inspection and photographs.
- A written price with those photographs attached.
- Tear off the old roof and inspect the decking underneath.
- Replace any rotten decking we find.
- Install the new roof.
- Clean up, including magnets across the yard for nails.
Common questions
Do you have to tear the old roof off?
We tear off. Going over an existing roof hides the decking, adds weight, and means nobody finds the rot until it is much worse.
What happens if the decking is rotten?
We replace it. We flag that possibility before we start, because it is the usual reason a job runs longer than planned.
How long will my house be open?
We do not open more roof than we can dry in the same day.
