The drone side carries its own credential. John holds an FAA Part 107 certificate, the commercial drone pilot rating, which is a separate qualification from anything to do with roofing.
That matters more than it sounds. Flying commercially without it is common and quietly against the rules, and it is the difference between a professional operation and somebody with a hobby drone.
If you would rather just have someone look, the drone inspection is free and you keep the photographs.
